How IsoLog handles your information

01What we collect on the website

• Orders and sample requests: your name, company, work email, phone, project name, the drawings, BOMs and numbering rules you upload, and your notes.
• Purchases: the email, company and billing details you give at checkout, the plan and number of seats, and the license keys we issue. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Messages: emails you send us, proposal requests, support requests sent from our apps, and ratings or reviews you leave.
• Owner account: the site has one sign-in, for the IsoLog owner. Customers do not create accounts.
• Visitor statistics: pages viewed, the site that referred you, campaign tags in the link, device type, and a random visitor ID kept in your browser's storage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers, and the statistics are not tied to your name.

02Your drawings and project files

Drawings, BOMs and other files you upload for a weld log are stored privately. Only the IsoLog owner can open them, using links that expire. We use them only to produce your deliverable and to answer questions about it.

We do not publish your drawings, show them to other customers, or use them to market IsoLog. We do not use your drawings to train AI models.

You can ask us to delete your files at any time after delivery by emailing Support@getisolog.com.

03IsoLog QMS desktop software

IsoLog QMS is offline Windows software. Your weld logs, welder records, specs, NCRs, drawings and other project data are stored on your computer or in the shared folder your company chooses. IsoLog does not receive a copy.

The app contacts getisolog.com only for: an update check (app version, license ID and an anonymous install ID, which you can turn off under Help), license renewal checks, and help requests you choose to send, which include the message and any details you attach.

The optional AI connector is off until you turn it on, and sends data only to the AI assistant you connect it to.

04IsoLog Inspector phone app

IsoLog Inspector signs you in with your company's Microsoft account. With your permission it reads your basic profile (name and email) and reads and writes the project team folder in your company's OneDrive or SharePoint, which is where the inspection records live.

Inspection records, photos and sign-offs go directly between your device and your company's Microsoft 365 storage. They do not pass through or get stored on IsoLog's servers. A copy is kept on your device so you can work without signal. Signing out removes the sign-in from the device.

Your Field seat license key is checked on the device and stored there.

05Why we use it

• To deliver weld logs, weld maps and other services you order, and to send you the files.
• To process payments, issue license keys and send receipts and renewal notices.
• To answer support requests and fix problems.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
• To send occasional product emails to business contacts. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and we stop when you ask.
• To meet legal and tax obligations and to protect against fraud and abuse.

06Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run IsoLog for us, and only what each one needs:

• Floot, which hosts the website, its database and file storage.
• Stripe, which processes payments.
• Our email providers, which deliver order, license and support emails.
• Microsoft, for the Inspector app sign-in and your company's own OneDrive or SharePoint storage.
• Professional advisers (such as an accountant) and authorities when the law requires it.

07We do not sell your information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

08How long we keep it

We keep order records, invoices and license records for as long as you are a customer and as long as tax and business records rules require. Uploaded drawings and delivered files are kept so we can answer questions and handle revisions, and we delete them sooner when you ask. Visitor statistics are kept in summary form.

09Security

Uploaded files are stored privately and opened only with short-lived links. Payments go through Stripe. Software updates are signed with an offline key and checked before they install. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your information we will tell you without undue delay. See getisolog.com/security for how IsoLog QMS is protected.

10Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving emails, by writing to Support@getisolog.com. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including under Texas and other state privacy laws, you may have additional rights; we honor those requests the same way, and we will not treat you differently for using them.

11Children

IsoLog is a business service for the construction industry. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

12Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell customers by email.
